Great nature reserve with easy access paths for all abilities. Interesting world war 2 archeological remains and an active conservation grazing management plan.
Great walks on well maintained paths. With history all around you. Good signage to the different WW2 hospital buildings.
I go to Burlish top regularly as its always been my favourite local place to go walking. There's various walking routes signposted with their distances but I enjoy just going where I feel like heading & always feel revived afterwards. The views overlooking the safari park & severn valley train track are very good. There's loads of different types of trees flora & fauna covering the large area & theres cows grazing occasionally in a permitted area. The history of WW2s American camp is more apparent since the beacons helmets & information boads have been placed. There's also benches if you need to rest.
Good for dog walking with an general walking on the edge of the Severn valley railway,an the safari park an part of the nature reserve .
Nice walk with the Dog earlier. Just wish fellow Dog owners would pick up after their own Dogs.
